The Built Environment Technology and Capability (BETC) Grant is a S$100 million initiative by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) to propel the next phase of transformation in Singapore’s built environment sector.
Replacing the Productivity Innovation Project (PIP) grant (ending 31 March 2025), the BETC grant empowers firms to develop capabilities across three key pillars:
- Develop new enterprise capabilities: e.g., lean construction and collaborative contracting.
- Increase adoption of advanced technologies: e.g., digital solutions, robotics, and automation.
- Build manpower capabilities: e.g., innovative sourcing, job redesign, and specialised training.
The BETC grant, available from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2030, offers significant funding support to enhance your competitiveness through innovation and productivity improvements.
- For applications submitted from 1 Apr 2025 to 31 Mar 2027: Up to 70% funding for SMEs and up to 50% for non-SMEs.
- For applications submitted from 1 Apr 2027 to 31 Mar 2030: Up to 50% funding for SMEs and up to 30% for non-SMEs.

To apply for the BETC grant, you will typically need to:
Access the Business Grants Portal (BGP) using your Corppass. Ensure your project meets at least one of the following outcomes:
- Productivity improvement
- Increase in skilled workers
- Increase in local employees with higher wages
- Increase in upskilled PMETs
Submit your application for evaluation by the BCA.
