Every impossible mission needs a benji. Every Novade account gets one.

There’s always a voice in the earpiece. Ethan Hunt is hanging off a cable, or about to walk into a room full of guards, and Benji is somewhere safe, talking him through it in real time. Which wire, which door, which way to turn. Ethan doesn’t have to know how any of it works. He just has to ask, and Benji already knows.

Most of us don’t get a Benji. We get an app, a feature we’ve never opened before, and a vague sense that there’s a setting in here somewhere that does what we need.

That’s the gap Noa is built for. It’s the assistant sitting inside Novade, and it explains how the platform actually works, in plain language, right when you’re stuck on it.

Novade covers a lot of ground, forms, tasks, inspections, permits, defects, reporting, and each of those can be configured differently depending on how a project’s set up. That flexibility is exactly why it’s hard to just ā€œfigure it outā€ on your own. What a feature does, and how it’s been set up on your project, aren’t always the same thing.

Ask What Something Does

Come across a field, a module, or a setting you don’t recognize, and instead of clicking around to piece it together, ask Noa directly. It explains what the feature does and how it fits into the rest of the app, in plain terms, without sending you off to a help article first.Ā

Ask It How to Do Something

Can’t remember how to set a filter, or where a specific form actually lives in the app? Ask Noa. It won’t tell you what’s been configured on your project, that’s still down to whoever set it up, but it will tell you how to find what you’re looking for and how to work the screen in front of you.

Ask It About Your Data (in beta)

For accounts on an Insights subscription, that same idea is starting to extend to your project data. Ask Noa, still in beta, lets you ask a plain-language question about your numbers and get an answer back, instead of building the query yourself.

Power User Tip

Ask about one feature or setting at a time. ā€œHow does the approval workflow on this form workā€ gets you a straight answer. ā€œFormsā€ on its own just gets you a longer conversation than you needed.

Ethan Hunt never has to ask Benji twice. With Noa built into your account, neither do you. Try it next time something in the app doesn’t make sense, and if it’s stumped too, novade.support@novade.net is your backup.
