Thank you for being a valued Novade customer. Our goal at Novade is to streamline and ensure seamless connections and communication between developers, contractors and homeowners.

The handover phase is the final and one of the most critical aspects of a construction project. Good communication and coordination are crucial as homeowners or tenants are directly involved.

Recently we received requests from some of our clients to enable homeowners to see rejected defects. Especially in times like this where joint inspections in person may not be possible, it is critical to ensure that homeowners have visibility on defects that have been rejected and know the reasons behind the rejection.

In view of this, we want to increase transparency and provide homeowners with the ability to view rejected defects.

The proposed change will enable:

  • Homeowners to view which defects have been rejected as well as the reasons for the rejection.
  • Rejected defects to be displayed on the Novade app and in exported PDFs.

This change will be rolled out on June 4, 2020.

The unit’s handover process will not be affected by this change. There will also be no additional action required by your staff on site.

If you feel this change would impact your operations, we’d like to hear from you. Please reach out to [email protected].

Thank you.
