Let’s take a closer look at site inspections
I don’t know about you, but when I hear the word Inspector, I free associate with Inspector Clouseau, that famous French policeman of Pink Panther fame, and the Henry Mancini tune starts playing in my head.
Inspectors in the real world (not of the police kind) have a much tougher job than our bumbling friend, Clouseau. An inspector on a jobsite is responsible for ensuring that all work is being done in accordance with local building codes, project specifications, safety standards, and other relevant regulations. There are multiple areas of work to inspect and schedule, all kinds of checklists to ensure that the work is done right.
Whether it is a Quality Inspection, a Safety Site walk or Testing and Commissioning checks, you can use Novade Lite to schedule Inspections using Tasks, enter planned start and end dates, assign to the correct person and even visualize the schedule on a calendar view. With the release of version 2.9, you can even attach any type of form or checklist to the task with a customisable workflow to ensure that all the right people are involved in every step of the Inspection. Status of Inspections and Forms can easily be tracked from standard dashboards.
