Novade Product Update for January, 2019

General

  • Safety has a redesigned UI. The new UI is designed to declutter the interface and make it easier to find items and a consolidated My Actions inbox.

Novade Quality

  • Fixes
    • Fixed issue where Restricted Consultants were not able to view defects lodged by other users from their company.
    • Fixed an issue where fields in forms were not being displayed fully.
    • Added Block & Level info in the homeowner app for owners who have multiple units.
    • Added ability to use the same QR code for a unit across multiple projects/phases.
    • When a defect is Rejected, a comment is mandatory.
    • Ability to assign Teams as Unit Managers.
    • Changed logic for creating new homeowner cases – to avoid orphan defects due to archived cases, when a homeowner lodges a defect 7 days or more after a New case was created, another New case is created instead of attempting to lodge defects in the previous case.
    • When a date field is made mandatory in a Quality form, the time field is also mandatory.
    • Web –
      • Ability to select QR codes to be printed.
      • Added column for number of CC defects on Contractor page, also add cc column to exported Excel.
      • Ability to create a new case for Orphan defects.

Novade Safety

  • Fixes:
    • Fixed an issue where the number of PTWs was mismatched on mobile and web.
    • Fixed an issue with Meeting notifications on iOS where the text was truncated.
  • Redesigned UI with consolidated My Actions inbox.
  • Mobile – Ability to locate PTWs, Safety forms, NCRs and Incidents on a drawing. Only open PTWs, Safety forms and NCRs will be displayed.
  • Messages can now be broadcast within the Safety module.
  • Web – Improved search to show results when languages are mixed on the same string.
  • Safety Forms – Both date and time are now mandatory when a date field is mandatory.
  • NCR –
    • Target rectification deadlines can be set in hours instead of days.
    • It is now mandatory to add a comment when rejecting an NCR.
    • Notifications about Comments on NCR are sent to the person who confirmed the NCR.
    • Web –
      • Response time dashboard updated to track NCR response times from Create to Closed and Confirm to Rectify stages.
      • Display how many NCRs have been reopened under NCR Assignees view.
      • The NCR master list can be exported with IDs to facilitate easy updating.
    • Mobile – Improved UI for assigning a team to an NCR.
  • PTW –
    • The PDF export now displays the list of people associated with a PTW.
    • If no people are added to a PTW, the user will be alerted when submitting the PTW.
    • The list of people associated with a PTW can be edited until the Approved stage.
    • Web –
      • Added a page to view all PTWs linked to a user.
      • Search shows results of submitted date instead of creation date when using the new PTW object.
      • Better performance, filters and ability to multi-select PTWs to restore.
      • Added a response time dashboard for response times between submission to approval.
  • WPTW –
    • Weekly PTWs can now be geolocated.
    • Improved view to see daily signatory signatures.
  • Observations –
    • When an NCR linked to an Observation is closed, the observation is automatically closed as well.
    • Mobile – Observations are now organized by status and time to optimize performance.
    • Web – New dashboard to track Observations which have led to NCRs.
  • Meetings –
    • Added ability to be able to duplicate Meetings.
    • Web – Added a page to view all the meetings a user has attended.

Novade Maintenance

  • Fixes:
    • Fixed an issue where assets were not being geocoded properly.
    • Fixed an issue where units displayed were not being filtered properly according to the hierarchy.
    • Fixed an issue where QR codes when downloaded were overlapping or getting cut-off.
  • New read-only role for Management to view Maintenance jobs.
  • Requests now have the ability to have custom fields.
  • Managers can delete uploaded certificates or PDF files from assets.
  • Ability to add Comments on requests that are visible to end-users/tenants.
  • Web –
    • When filtering by site, asset groups with no assets are no longer displayed.
    • Introduced restriction on mass import of jobs to allow imports of jobs only starting today or in the future.
    • Geocoded assets/units are displayed on a map view.
  • Ability to download QR codes by Asset group.
  • Mobile –
    • When a repair job is scheduled in a unit, a notification is sent to the tenant/owner to notify them of a scheduled job.
    • Ability to mark-up a picture attached to a repair request.
    • Photos that have just been taken can be deleted on Maintenance jobs.
    • Improved UI when closing requests.

Novade Activity

  • Added a colour stripe to indicate whether a completed task has all forms associated with it completed. When all the forms are completed, the task will have a green stripe next to it.
  • Added the ability to plan tasks to the minute instead of hour.
  • Added a tab at unit level to show all forms associated with the unit.
  • Web –
    • Added picture thumbnails to tasks and included the pictures in the PDF exports.
    • On the Gantt chart view, the dates are frozen at the top so that they are visible when a user scrolls down.
    • Added a dashboard to show the summary of activities by unit.

People

  • Fixes:
    • Fixed issues with creating/editing of users when using mass imports.
    • Fixed issue with creation of user without account not showing name.
    • Fixed issue of ownership of projects when adding Maintenance users.
  • Ability to add tags to Companies.
  • When a user is changed from sub-con to Employee type, he/she is automatically added to the projects they were associated with to maintain access to their projects.
  • Leave information has been migrated to Workforce.
  • Web –
    • Added check for duplicate team names when creating/editing teams.
    • Added tabbed view for each tag added to a user.
    • Removed the teams field from homeowner users since they are not relevant.
    • Include homeowners when users are filtered by project.
    • Added ability to merge users. 

Workforce

  • Fixes:
    • Fixed an issue with the search not working correctly.
  • The web and mobile apps have been optimized for speed.
  • Option to enable/disable notifications for timecard submission.
  • Harmonized the web and mobile app People pages.
  • Enabled the ability for managers to see timecards of team members who are no longer in their team.
  • Web –
    • Added ability to start, stop and edit activities.
    • Added an on-click on date titles.
