Novade Product Update for November, 2019

 

General

Novade Quality has a new consolidated Overview dashboard that acts as a command centre for monitoring the quality related tasks and items. New By Unit dashboards for PTWs and Safety Forms for Safety.

***Correction: Under the Safety module, ‘By Unit dashboard for PTWs, Actions and Observations’ has been changed to ‘By Unit dashboards available for PTWs and Safety Forms.’ We apologise for any inconvenience caused. ***

 

Novade Quality

  • Fixed issues where:
    • Some groups were not showing in the assignees drop-down list.
    • The Unit Status dashboard was not showing on iOS. 
    • If Other was selected as a Location for a defect, there was no way to add more information as free text. 
    • Cases lodged by other users were being displayed even after a user filter is applied. 
    • Subcon users were unable to see Common Areas.
    • Homeowners were not receiving notifications for forms submitted in their units.
    • The cc list went missing after lodging a defect. 
    • Subcons were unable to see Inspections linked to their Requests for Inspection.
  • Added:
    • The ability to have Inspection types per project.
    • The ability for sub-contractor users to be able to tag defects.
    • A new right for users that should be allowed to create homeowner accounts from the contact view.
    • The ability to duplicate sub-forms to a specific state instead of always to draft.
    • A Tag filter on the Unit Status dashboard. 
  • New Quality Overview dashboard.
  • Files attached to a form are now visible to all users with permissions to view the form. 
  • Reinstated the ability of standard users to delete NEW defects as long as they have Lodge rights.
  • Improved UI and functionality for files & drawing management.
  • The Map functionality will be used only to locate units on a map. Defects can only be pinned on drawings.
  • Improved the readability of the By Type dashboard by rounding off the percentages displayed.
  • Web –
    • Added the ability to turn off any of the standard dashboards.
    • Added a legend of the various unit statuses on the Map view of units.
    • Added the ability to add custom dashboards.
    • On the Unit Status dashboard, blocks are sorted alphabetically by default.
    • Added a Unit tag column in the unit table view.
    • Added an Assignee column to the Defects table view.
    • Drawing aliases are now called Display Name. Added the ability to edit drawing display names.
  • Mobile –
    • Added a search bar for files and drawings. 
    • Added a search bar on the subcon view.

Novade Safety

  • Fixed issues where:
    • (Mobile) Users were unable to see photos of closed observations.
    • The PTW Mismatch dashboard was not visible to Client Admins.
    • Actions created from a punch item in a Meeting couldn’t be assigned. 
    • Safety User rights displayed in the table view were not being reflected correctly on the individual user’s page.
    • An initiator wasn’t able to act on a PTW. This happened only on older PTWs.
    • All the photos in the same form field were not displaying.
    • WPTWs were not displaying the certificates of assets linked to it.
  • Incidents – 
    • Added a default Others when creating Incidents.
  • Actions –
    • Added the ability to escalate a WIP Action to NC if a user has the right to do so.
    • Added the ability to export Actions to Word using Windward customization.
    • Actions – Assignees for Actions can now be edited even after the Action is confirmed.
    • Actions – Added the ability to filter by type of assignee on the Actions Assignees page.
  • Observations –
    • Added a new dashboard By Date.
  • PTW –
    • Any users added to a PTW will receive notifications when the PTW is approved.
    • Added a By Unit dashboard for PTWs and Safety forms.

Novade Maintenance

  • In the history tab, you can now see to which company a person belongs.
  • Added the ability to indicate that an Asset Group needs a certificate or not when importing Assets. 
  • Added pull notifications for our users in China.
  • Maintenance checklists/forms attached to Inspections can have a workflow independent of the Inspection. 

Novade Activity

  • Fixed issues where: 
    • Milestones import function was not working properly.
    • All tasks were showing overdue even when the Activity start date is in the future. 
    • Fixed an issue with downloading QR codes. 
  • Added the ability to search for units. 
  • It is now possible to have a read-only user. 
  • New tasks do not have a default duration now. 
  • Differentiation between Overdue tasks not started and WIP Overdue for those that were started late. 
  • Mobile –
    • Improved UI in cases when forms have not been created. A message will be displayed on the forms tab that there are no forms to display.
  • Web –
    • Improved filters.
    • Improved UI display for Milestones.
