Novade Product Update for November 2020

 

Multiple Novade modules on a single project 

Multiple Novade modules can now be used on a single project. Users having more than one project will not only experience a simplified and harmonised setup but will also be able to gather and monitor data in a more accurate manner. 

Novade Quality

  • Additions:
    • Spatial hierarchy values to the Excel export of forms. 
    • The ability to cc users on Inspections.
    • PDF export for partial signoffs for homeowners updated to match PDF standards.
    • The ability to display a legal notice before signing a closed case. This legal notice is included in the PDF export of the case. 
    • The ability to run custom scripts before the last workflow stage check.
    • The ability to append a Revision letter to the end of an inspection number when it is duplicated from an existing inspection.
    • The ability to display Related Form field in the subcon defects view.
    • Mobile:
      • Included Forms in the option “Mandatory to pin on Drawings”.
      • Optimised the speed of opening My Actions pages for large datasets.
      • Added a line break support for comments. 
    • Web:
      • Added the ability to multi-select Unit Statuses as filters. 
      • Added a Lodged Date column to the Defects table view. 
      • Updated the location of the “Set Comments viewable by Homeowners” setting to the Homeowner project-level settings page. 
      • Added an Excel export function on the Inspections Status page. 
      • The Unit Status filter has been moved to the filter in the top blue bar to accommodate for multi-select functionality.
  • Fixes: 
    • JavaScript errors related to Insights and older phones.
    • My Actions not showing To Confirm actions. 
    • PDF downloads were not including attachments.
    • Target rectification dates set before Confirmation were getting updated upon confirmation. 
    • Slow loading times for Defects dashboards on the web.
    • The display of the list of forms in a unit not being filtered by type.
    • An issue where 0 was not displayed in Forms. 
    • Numbers on Defect dashboards not updating correctly when filters were applied. 
    • Defect descriptions were not being displayed in the table view.
    • The exported Excels and PDFs were not reflecting the applied filters.
    • The table view of units was not sorting by Tag. 
    • Archive emails not being sent for Closed cases.
    • Forms showing as Draft in mobile even after being submitted.
    • Subcon users from the same company seeing different dashboard information for inspections. 
    • Defect related items were showing in My Actions even if Defects were not enabled on the project. 
    • On the Web where Form numbers assigned by the server were not being displayed automatically.
    • Mobile defect dashboards related to web filter codes being called on mobile. 
    • Subforms not being assigned a number from the server counter for forms. 
    • Users were unable to add comments to Inspections and Cases. 
    • An error appearing when Starting Inspections.
    • Information missing from custom table views and the excel exports from these views.
    • Duplicating meetings with attendees generating an error.
    • Exporting Defects to PDF when there are more than 50.
    • Subcon users could not see the Unit number in forms.

Novade Safety-HSE

  • Optimised app to improve performance.
  • Updated PDF exports to conform with standards. 
  • Inspections – Added the ability to create Inspections from the Project landing page. 
  • Actions:
    • Added tags to the PDF export. 
    • Added the ability to label photos as Before/After Rectification. 
  • PTWs – Added the ability to disable the ability to add People to PTWs.
  • Meetings – Added the ability to duplicate participants when duplicating a meeting. 
  • Web – Added the ability to see consolidated My Tasks for all projects.
  • Mobile – Added Inspections cc to My Tasks. 
  • Fixes: 
    • Subforms not working correctly.
    • The By Issue types dashboard not filtering when “NC only” checkbox was ticked.
    • Cause filter on Actions page displaying custom causes.
    • Photos were missing comments when exporting multiple PDFs.
    • Incident exports to Excel contained the status of Forms instead of just the incident status.
    • An issue with not being able to add comments on NCRs.
    • The number of forms displayed on the dashboard was including other users’ drafts. 

Novade Reports

  • Added the automatic addition of a library field in an Activity template/equipment group on creation. 
  • For duplicate Reports, the display of the original Reports was added in the history. 
  • Added the ability to group Activities on PDF and web 
  • Added the ability to define Activity targets per individual project.  
  • Added the ability to choose in which Reports absences are displayed.
  • Fixed issues: 
    • In Reports history where the name of the creator was not displayed.
    • When selecting people for leaves, the other fields were resetting. 
    • The deletion of multiple Reports which include timecards.
    • The total overtime and total break duration were still displayed despite the columns were hidden.
    • A step of a site diary workflow was not displayed. 
    • When importing the headcount, the name was not updated. 
    • On site diaries – photos not displayed in PDF export, Activity not editable, impossible to delete diaries.
    • Adding workforce or equipment count. 

Novade Maintenance

  • Added the ability for users with the right to Acknowledge Requests to receive a push notification when a new request is created.
  • Added the ability to exclude holidays and non-working days from the scheduling of jobs/inspections.
  • Split the Approval rights for jobs and inspections into separate rights.
  • Optimised the mobile app for performance on databases with large amount of data.
  • Added a check to prevent users from creating Certificates with duplicate names.
  • Fixes:
    • The Excel export of Inspection/Jobs could not be opened when exporting from Chinese databases. 
    • Downloading Inspection PDFs on mobile.
    • Selecting Request severity on mobile. 
    • Sending notification for request creation. 
    • An error related to Certificate dates when importing new certificates.
    • In Forms where the user was taken to the top of the form when clicking on a button within the form.

Novade Activity

  • Fixes:
    • No Activities showing in some units.
    • The display of ad-hoc tasks. 
    • Users with only rights to Start were seeing the item To Complete in My Actions. 
    • Users were able to Start Tasks before the previous task was completed.
    • On the Web where a user was able to Complete Tasks even though the rights were set to Start Tasks only.
    • Updating a Task template but not updating the linked activities.

Novade People

  • Added the ability to easily spot people with high-temperature records. 
  • Enhancements around adding Thermal Scanners to the Covid-Safe Platform deployments. 
  • Redefined ownership rules to allow for one project to be used with multiple modules. 

Project Center

  • Added a check to make sure that Units with data associated with them cannot be deleted.
  • Added support for Thai Baht as currency. 
  • Expanded Power User rights to be able to add and edit Units. 
  • Fixes:
    • Deleting the steps in a Workflow was removing the Closing step.  
    • Custom dashboards were not available on mobile. 
    • Being able to create a broadcast message. 
    • The delete function in the three-dot menu was not working.
    • The “Delete Data” function was not deleting sub-forms.
    • Removing a module from a project.

Novade Insights

  • Quality – Quality Forms table to show adoption of the form and completion duration.
  • Fixes: 
    • Quality:
      • Units Analysis – fixed filtering issue which resulted in incorrect units count. 
      • Quality Overview – fixed grey border that did not extend fully until the bottom of the screen. 
      • Defects Performance – suppose to show defects but was showing cases. 
      • Defects Performance – data label change to be Lodged – or better clarity.  
      • The form creation date was not properly managed and did not show a time-related dashboard (forms created by month, by hour of the day for example). 
      • Some typo in the second dimension related to the unit dashboard.  
    • Safety Overview – fixed grey border that is not extended fully.
