Novade Product Update for September 2021

 

Introduction of bulk editing and multi-selection for templates saves time for users to set up projects

Instead of making tedious changes to a group of fields one by one, and repeatedly, users can now easily multi-select, edit, and duplicate multiple fields when setting up a template in Project Center. This enhancement enables users to save an enormous amount of time by removing the repetitive and tedious steps when carrying out bulk changes to the templates.

Novade Quality

  • RFWI:
    • Enhanced the API to include RFWI data
    • Added the ability to utilise a server level counter for numbering
    • Added the ability to display the RFWI number in the related Inspections
  • Added the ability to input a reason when duplicating a form
  • Mobile – added filters on the map view of units
  • Web:
    • Added percentages to the By Unit and Units by Status dashboards
    • Modified the calculation of the progress of a unit with mandatory templates to take into consideration conditional workflows steps
    • Added the ability to view Defect IDs in the table views
    • Improved the dashboards for Requests
    • Improved the display of history logs to show Case Names instead of Case IDs
  • Fixes:
    • Sorting by level in the Units table view
    • Users who were not Admin were able to edit forms in a closed RFWI
    • A user who is not an Inspection assignee was able to edit content on the web
    • On iOS where a user is not redirected to the new case view after moving a defect to a new case
    • Users not part of the workflow were able to edit RFWIs
    • Some rejected forms could not be duplicated
    • Exporting PDFs when the exclude empty fields option is chosen

    • PTW – added a setting to enable mandatory photos when rejecting a PTW
    • Improved the UI for archival date ranges
    • Fixes:
      • Approvers could not see the Reject button
      • Users were able to add photos and comments to closed Observations
      • The expired PTWs tab was inaccessible
      • The status Revoked was not displaying in a custom table view
      • Photos in PDF exports of Safety Actions were not displaying correctly
      • The location was not displaying in expired PTWs

    Novade Reports

    • Additions:
      • Define planned start and completion dates for activities
      • Organise activities in cycles and have theoretical activity values based on a profile
      • Choose colours for toggle options
      • Record simultaneously a timecard and an absence for the same person the same day
      • Basic checks to prevent incorrect input of meter readings
      • Duplicate a supply reception in a report
      • Copy supplies data from the previous report
    • Web:
      • Added new options by cycles and profiles in filters and display configuration of the Activity and the Breakdown dashboards
      • Added new columns ‘Ratio: Worked hours/Qty’, ‘Target Ratio: Worked hours/Qty’ and ‘Target Ratio: Qty/Duration’ in Activity summary dashboard
      • Added the ability to highlight values greater/less than daily/total targets in dashboards
      • Changed the display of absence code from orange to black when displaying both timecards and absences simultaneously in Workforce dashboard
      • Modified the value considered when computing the value of the Earned hours column in Activities summary dashboard
      • Added a button “reset to default value” when editing the value of a custom field that contains a default value
      • Added the ability to choose specific teams data to exclude when creating a site diary
      • Added the display of master list item additional information based on corresponding items in reports table
      • Added the ability to view the Unit of a report in Quality module
      • Changed in the terminology “Present” and “Absent” to “Presence” and “Absence” above timecards table in reports
      • Added the ability to multi select for deletion both timecards and absences
    • Mobile:
      • Added a checkbox to match activity duration when breaking down resources on an activity
      • Added the ability to multiple bonuses of a timecard at once

      • Highlighting values using the search bar
      • Incorrect data was saved when pressing the “enter” key while editing a value in a popup
      • Synchronisation issue when creating activities
      • Displaying the cycle for an activity
      • The deletion of reports by bulk
      • The rounding of earned hours in the Activity summary dashboard

      • Target values were added despite the setting not being enabled

    • Fixes
      • The incorrect status being shown for some Jobs
      • Meter readings beyond limit showing incorrectly as 0
      • Recurring inspections showing the incorrect frequency once started
      • The location disappearing when selecting an assignee
      • Forms could not be exported to Excel
      • Users being notified even if the preference was not to receive notifications
      • Mismatched export and import formats for Excel causing errors
      • A mismatch of numbers of assets and certificates in left panel v/s dashboards

    Novade Workforce

    • Fixes
      • Managers were able to check workers in before time (a future time)

    Novade Activity

    • Improved the restoration of archived tasks
    • Added the ability for users to upload files to a form even if they are not part of the current stage of the workflow
    • Fixes:
      • Tasks which should not be blocked appearing in the Blocked tab
      • There was no response when clicking on numbers on the Requests dashboard
      • The Forms duplication button not being visible
      • Accessing the By Milestone dashboard
      • Task filters not working properly

    Novade People 

    • Added the ability to archive public forms
    • Mobile – added a project filter
    • Web – added a tab for people with no type to the Excel export
    • Fixes:
      • UI issues for People archival function

    Project Center

    • Revamped and consolidated the location of the setup of custom dashboards
    • Template setup – added the ability to multi-select and duplicate multiple fields as well as change the editable stage at once
    • Fixes
      • Sorting in Sherlock

      • History log was not sorting by date
      • Exporting forms to PDF in portrait
      • A contractor company was showing up as an assignee of defects even though no specific contractor was setup
      • Some items not showing in the Recycle Bin

      • The setting for expiring certificates notification
      • The position of a custom field was not editable
      • The date format in the meter reading list of an equipment

    Novade Insights

    • Standardised the defect status colours across all dashboard in Quality Insights
    • Defaulted timezone at GMT +8 (Singapore Standard Time) for projects which have no timezone value set up
    • Added Rejection Reasons in the Rejected Quality Forms Details table on Rejected Quality Forms dashboard
    • Improved the performance of Quality form related data rendering
    • Fixes:
      • Missing data issue with Defects Status by Contractor widget on Company Benchmark dashboard
      • Wrong calculation on Defects Status by Project widget on Defect Performance dashboard

    Novade Connect

    • Additons:
      • Set up integration with technical partners
      • Dedicated demo database in Procore for use by Presales
      • Added Novade Connector SDK to be publicly available in Workato Community Library
    • Fixes:
      • Missing users in Daily Occupier Report due to incorrect thermal scanner check-in/out setting
      • Temperature records and CSP Access Codes resulted from Pensees server connection timed out outage
      • Retrieving issue type ID and issue sub-type ID, as these IDs are not transferrable across different BIM 360 projects
      • 500 internal server error with BIM 360 connection, due to outdated connection credentials
      • User profiles created as “staff” when retrieved from Intercorp thermal scanner to Novade (instead of “employee” or “subcon”)
